Issue - No document category exists for the selected payment document or payment method

Issue: Getting error “No document category exists for the selected payment document or payment method.” When Paying in Full the payable invoice.

Possible causes are provided in below metalink notes:

Pay Invoice In Full: No Document Category Exists for the Selected Payment Document or Payment Method (Doc ID 2310860.1)

Select invoice button grayed out. Document category not selected (Doc ID 2485618.1)

Solution:

1. Under the bank account setup, populate the business unit.

Navigation:

Go to Manage Bank Accounts => Query for the bank account => Edit and go to Business Unit Access tab => Add payment document category for the payment method.

2. Check that selected bank account does not have payment document category defined under Business Unit access tab.

Please add payment document category under Business Unit access tab like below resolved the issue.
